if you are having "sex" with him, i don't see why you can't talk about your menstruation. It is a normal biological function that he is most proabably aware of.

Just tell him ahead of time. In my limited experience, most guys do not have a problem with this, but some do. If it's not a big deal to him, go for it and enjoy. If it is, I'm sure that you can think up some other options to intercourse. FYI: The sponge holds the flow back long enough to enjoy sex without the mess.

You sound like a young girl! (Smile) Well If so than maybe you should not be having sex. But then it's your business! Just tell him the time is not right! Give you about 5 days or what ever it takes to finish. If he does not know what you are talking about then, you are to young. I say it not the right time of the month.

I always say that if you can't talk openly about sex, or sexual health issues then you shouldn't be having sex with a person. You're either too young/immature or the relationship has not reached a level of maturity.
If you can't say "I'm on my period" how can you discuss anything of importance, like birth control or STDs or committments or accidental pregnancy?

Just try tell him in a slightly humorous way, like:
"You might want to take cover next week , every girl's favourite monthly visitor is coming to see me".
If you tend to get a bit b*tchy around this time, it's probably best to warn him so he knows he has to watch his step a bit more than usual with you.

Everybody knows that all women have a period at different times. Just let him know now before he gets all hot and bothered. Because it's pretty messed up to get shot down when your all hot and bothered.

Just let him know that it's about that time of the month again ... you can always do other things ... during your period ... oral, anal, masturbating ... etc ... whatever the two of you are comfortable with doing ... then do it ... it's only a week right ... !
