OK As for Jon C he is wrong because the Engine that is used for the Type-S carrolla is not a scion TC engine or the 2.4L camery engine that is in the car it is actually the Toyota Celica Engine 1.8L with 126Hp at the Crankshaft but this is only based on factory spec and no what is rear going to the wheels. if dyno tested the car has a 10-20 percent drop in hp because of the Hp lost in the transmission and the turning of the wheels

I asume you are talking about the 2003-2006 versions of the Toyota Corolla type S. If so it has the same 1.8-liter dual-overhead-cam four-cylinder engine that is rated at 130 horsepower like the base models.

Type S has the same as the Scion tC with the supercharger, 201 hp.
