Smirnoff, Wibroskwa, Peprovka...Absolut are some brands of Vodka. You can have Vodka with orange juice or Martini or Tonic Water...Bombay, Seagrams are some popular gins and gin is best enjoyed with Tonic Water

Ketel One is a good vodka that goes well with just about anything. I would recommend Red Bull as a mixer.
Gin is another liquor that can be mixed with a lot of things. I would reccommend pineapple juice because it kills the gin taste well and if you sip from the top of the glass, you only need to replenish the gin and ice because the pineapple juice is much heavier and sinks to the bottom of the glass.

smirnoff vodka is pretty popular, but most people can't tell the difference especially if you mix it in a drink.
My favorite vodka drink is a black russian: 2 parts vodka 1 part kalua, add milk for the ladies makes a white russian.
In general vodka is relatively tasteless so you can mix it with almost anything: coke, cranberry juice, any fruit juice.
Gin is the standard drink for martini you add vermouth - but these days 'vodka martinis' are very popular too.
Gin has a strong almost lemony taste to it, so it is harder to mix than vodka, but will go well with pretty much any fruit juice.
Best drink of all is Long Island Ice tea: 1 part each of Vodka, Gin, Rum, Triple Sec, and Tequila, mixed with lemonade and a dash of coke (to color it like tea - there is no actual tea in a long island iced tea!)

Tonic with gin, over ice is usually the best. Some people like it straight. Vodka, Grey Goose is great (it's a top shelf drink), Polar Ice (Canada only) is great too. Vodka is great with almost any juce or soda. I don't recommend it with red bull (the drink is called a raging bull, it's quite an aquired taste) or greapfruit juce (called a Greyhound, kinda bitter).

Vodka is super versatile...you can make so many great drinks out of it. White russian, mudslide, screwdriver, sea breeze, long island ice tea, martini...the list goes on. I like Stollies vodka best...easy to drink neat or on the rocks and it mixes well.
Gin...well gin and tonic come to mind. Tom Collins, and if you feeling brave...gin and gatorade.
Enjoy!!!

I have done a lot of vodka drinking...I'd say EVERYTHING
mixes okay with vodka Except I didn't like apple juice or iced tea.
I really liked collins mixer with gin.
Lime juice (gimlets) goes great with both vodka & gin.
Vodka & kahlua (black russian).
Absolutely the best straight up drink:
Rumple Minze Peppermint Schnapps from the freezer!!!

You can mix pretty much anything with vodka, and everyone has their own preference as to which one the like. I liked skyy and stoli. Not much of a gin drinker, had some a long time ago but couldn't say how I drank it.

A good Vodka is Grey Goose and that goes good with orange juice or cranberry juice. Gin is also good with orange juice or there is gin and tonic.
