Stay out of the drama. Someone is just trying to suck you in. If someone tells you, oh, this other girl said someting about you, say I don't care what she said and I don't want to hear it. The peoson trying to start trouble will not bring their nonsense to you anymore.

The answer to that is staring you straight in the face. The guilty party is always the one who protests the most. Look at it this way, not everyone will like you and have something positive to say to or about you. The person who brought this news to you is not your friend and sounds like a trouble maker so you need to drop her company.

If someone told me that I ate toads, for instance, why would I ask someone else? No... if someone accuses you of some greatly negative thing, just go on living as you always did. Others will see you for who you are by their experiences with you. Take the high road!

Either she was lying that person #1 even said anything about you. OR she wasn't supposed to tell anyone else (least of all YOU) what she said about you.

Either way, move on with life.

Don't involve yourself in the drama. You know what is good and bad about yourself, who cares what someone else thinks. Sounds like that person who told you isn't a good friend to you OR the person trash talking.

The best is to just let it go, but if you feel you can't, get the 2 of them together and the truth will most likely come out.

Just let it go. This sounds too middle-school.
