Who says we want to? I don't want to adjust to someone else's culture. If I went to their country I would expect to change but not here. They should change to our culture not the other way around. That is why there are so many socialists in our country as it is. I respect other cultures and languages but to conform to others ways no thanks. We don't have to because we don't need to. If you don't like our culture or language, then go away.

By gaining respect of other people. You see many people fail to realize that accepting someone for who they are means accepting everything that comes along with them. When we can look at everyone and not see color but see culture and how beautifully different everyone is then maybe we can achieve what you are asking!

I'm all for respect, but who wants multiculturalism? Each country has its own culture. The culture here is American. If it is lost here, there is no where else it would be. Why travel if you want your home culture?

Well for a start all the illegals and border hoppers could start respecting our immigration laws.

I know for one, I can do my bit to be more accepting of cultures that are foreign to me; That said, I will not accept illegal aliens of any shape or form.
