There is a new strain of Parvo out this year that is very resilient and typical Parvo vaccinations don't seem to cover. If I remember correctly NeoPar was the only vaccination that was effective against it and not many ppl use it. I just remember getting some info mailed to me on it early last spring or so. I will star this as well and if I have some time to do a bit of research I will post findings. Good Luck and I am sorry this is happening! ADD>>>Sorry you are still not coming up with much. Has a necropsy been performed on any of the dead pups/dogs? I would strongly urge you or anyone dealing with anything with such limited information to have a dead pup sent to a university for a complete culture, isolation and sensitivity. That is seriously where I would start! If it does not give you a diagnosis it will at least tell you what it is not...purely academic at this point but I would want to know if it were my dogs. Please keep us posted!

flu viruses are present year round. They are contracted thru contact. Contact as simple as touching something that someone infected has recently touched and then touching your face. The virus enters thru the mucousa of the nose and mouth.
The flu becomes a problem at the winter months because more people are indoors and in close contact, and personal hygiene is not all it should be. I keep hand sanitizer in my pocket and use it any time I touch a public surface, like door handles, water faucets, water fountains, shopping carts and so forth.
Once you have the virus, it will take ten to fourteen days to be completely healed of it. You are contagious and shed the virus for a full ten days. If you wear a mask while infected you decrease the chance that you will spread it to others. And of course frequent hand washing helps enormously as well.

the flu usually stays about 7 days. After being exposed to the flu your bodys immune system begins to kick in. As the virus increases and multiples and the immune system weakens the symptoms will begin to appear, this may be many days after the initial exposure. Your immune system will attack and usually will clear the virus out within 7-10 days. If your symptoms last longer see a doctor.

I was told by an LPN, that you are usually contagious days before you even know that you have the illness.
