I lift weights every other day, and I hit a punching bag for a half hour. Sometimes I do a half hour on an eliptical machine. I diet 6 days a week. I'm stuck at 215lbs. What do I do?

You diet six days a week? What about the other one? A diet should be a lifestyle change, not something that you do whenver you feel like it. Try changing the way you eat every single day, and I can imagine the weight will start coming off again. Good luck!

First congratulate yourself. 50 pounds! Wow! Maybe 215 is where your body should be. If you are muscular, muscles weigh more than fat per cubic whatever. I'm around the same weight as you. When I do a bunch of workouts for a while I actually gain weight, even though I might lose 2 inches around the waist.
30 minutes on a punchy bag indicates pretty good cardio. Combined with weight training sounds like a well balanced workout. Don't worry too much about what the scale says. If you feel good than that's more important. Start sculpting various body parts with weights if you think you need to.
Good job.~~~

What you really need to do is change your routine. If you usually do the elliptical, try switching to a bike or a spin class. You also need to change up your lifiting routine. Either get a trainer or start lifting with someone and do what they do, not what you usually do. Hitting a wall can most often be addressed by changing the routine. Getting a trainer is the best option, but if that's not affordable, consider getting one once or twice a week for a month or two and write down everything you do together. That way you dont have to keep paying them, but you now have a new routine.

don't freak out hun...you've just hit your plateau eating and doing the same thing when you lost the 50lbs. is exactlty the reason you haven't lost anymore weight. Incorporate walking 3 to 4 times a week in your schedule, and you'll see a difference. If you wanna talk more just im me, good luck:)

I used to have an issue like this as well, but I found out that you have to do more than work out and eat healthy to reach your target weight.I started an all organic diet and exercised for at least 4 hours every day, 7 day a week.It helped..a lot.I lost weight rapidly, but after about 2 monthes,my weight became stable. You'll lose weight, just not as fast as you did before,so don't stress.

you can drop fast, if you modify +/- your food intake (cut back some and spread it out) or change up your cardio (run!)
