Yes for sure you can!
You can get a referral for a recruiter to contact you here...
http://www.goarmy.com/flindex.jsp
Just beware that recruiters have a well known tendency to Lie or leave out info if its benefits them.....
If its not on paper in your contract that you sign going in... ITS DOES NOT EXIST.. just because they say so hold no value later... and anything they tell you
that you can ask in your Drill sargeant in Basic training about and it does not need to be in the contrract.. HA... wrong
You will need tot ake the ASVAB a basic test to see what you know and your scores on that will determine what JOBS or MOS is avail to you upon enlistment...
THe Army is good way to pay for school, and get a steady paycheck.. right now its also a good way to end up in the sand in Iraq.. be careful what job you pick unless that is what you want to do.
Also you can ask about delayed entry.. means sign up now but go in later if you have a commitment you need to finish at home.. and split option training.. thats where you finsih basic trtianing and rather than going immediately on to school for your job you chose you have a break..
If you go Reg Army that is different.
I also suggest that if yu are from a cooler area of the US that you NOT do basic training in the summertime. ALL Basic training bases are in the south.. and if you are not used to that kind of heat and humidity it will be rough... they do basic in those places in winter too... much more pleasant!
Good Luck

Yes, my husband is in the Army with just a GED. However, he was not eligible for any enlistment bonuses since he didn't have a high school diploma. I don't know if this has changed since he joined. It may have since they have been having a hard time with recruitment due to the war in Iraq. Also, at the time he enlisted, my husband was only able to join the Army. No other services would accept GEDs. Again, I don't know if that has changed.

You could at one time. My brother-in-law had a GED and the Army accepted him about ten years ago. Can't be 100% sure, but considering the fact that the Army hasn't been meeting its recruiting goals lately I'm betting they'll let you join with a GED as long as you pass the background check and don't have any problems with the law or drugs.

I believe you can....and they pay for your college...for the most part.
But don't take my word.
Go to a recruiter.
