Which portrait studio do you think is better?

I know there are much higher quality portrait studios in our area but I just wanted to know everyone's opinion would be on these?

Thank you in advance!!

I've always taken my son to Sears. The pictures from Penny's don't look as nice. I had a coupon from Penny's that I got after he was born from the hospital for a free 8x10. I was insistant that I only wanted that free picture & they took 2 shots, neither one were decent. I ended up not getting the picture after all. The photographer refused to do more shots or redo the 2 taken. When my son was 3 months old, I took him to Sears & got way better pictures.

Now that he's in school, I only go to get a holiday portrait creation. We both are in it & the creation looks so much better than anything Penny's can create. We probably won't go this year as we have a digital camera now. I'm going to experiement with the timer feature & take our own picture by the tree to save money. I can upload the pictures to walmart.com & get postcards to send out to our family & friends.

JC Penney is pretty good but so is Sears. Yeah all of those Olan Mills stuff is alright, but if you need cheap but good ones.

Of course local photographers will always give you better family portraits I think. If you are in the south give me a call as I have a lot of equipment.

They both pay minimum wage and take would be photographers and put them to work. I've tried to hire several photographers from JC Penney, Sears and Wall-mart. I've found once there out of there interment in the store there lost and almost hopeless in a real studio.

But I've got to admit there's no competing with there pricing and packaging

Ever hear the expression, "6 or half a dozen"? Who really knows which is better? The equpment is about the same commercial equipment, and they put out work like cookie cutters. If you must decide between these two (sheesh!), choose the better deal. It's all hit and miss. Good luck!
