OK, I have a long time friend that I once was attracted to but we decided to keep the friendship. However, she once said that we wouldn't work because I would do whatever it took to make her happy, meaning that I would never deliberatly pick a fight. So am I wierd or is she because she actually looks for confrontation in a relationship?

BUT THEN AGIAN SO ARE YOU. IF YOU RUN FROM CONFRONTATION AND NEVER STAND UP FOR YOURSELF THEN YOU WONT BE HAPPY IN THE LONG RUN. AND THAT COULD BE WHY SHE BACKED AWAY FROM YOU. SHE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE FEELING WETHER YOU ARE MAD ABOUT SOMETHING OR HAPPY.

Well actually, lots of women do,
She is basicall telling you haw you can get her.
You need to be a Mans Man- Show her you know how to put your foot down, like a father.
And Its the sexual tension she desires, that hot and heavy, where the man is forceful, and still gentle-
Read any romance novels lately, No one wants the friend they want the passion.
So show her what a reall man you are and don't always let her get her way, its more about saying ,
Katie I'm comming over, be ready.
And when you get there, beep the horn for her to come down, when she gets in the car, go to the movie you wanna see, not the gay chick flick just to make her happy.
Buy the tickets like most women expect from a man, and put your arm around her like a possesion. and men with big balls sit with there legs open. one leg on the seat infront of them.
After the movie when your leaving , don't say hey I think that chick is hot, just go up and say hi, and flirt right infront of your friend, if the girl is interested, give her your number.
It will get her to thinking, and maybe get you the girl.
But its a thing you need to do all the time.
Like in the mall, or public places pretend its open season, plent of hotties for alex, but in private the old masculine lovey dovey alex breaks out.

Neither are weird...you're just not compatible. I used to date a girl I worshiped. I would do anything for her. She began to resent it to the point that she started picking fights just to get me energized. I felt hurt all the time and she loathed me for it. When I met the girl that became my wife, we were more chummy. We both like to fight and we enjoy arguing and debating just about everything. I realized that I love her for who she is, not what I was making her out to be, as in my earlier relationship.
The girl is right - if that is the way you treat her, she will begin to resent you and your feelings will be hurt.

I think what she was trying to tell u is that u kinda hero worship her, and that is y u wud do anything to make her happy and she doesnt want that.She wants someone who can see her as human.
