I am a green card holder and I would like to apply for financial aid through my school and federal government, but I heard that I could become ineligible for citizenship later on if I do so. Is that true? Thanks!

no.... my husband had financial aid/loans etc when he got his citizenship.... and he got it w/ no problem.... what u need to show is that you are not a trouble maker and are nor burden on the country which i am sure you probably are not...
they country loves people who have an education, even if they need help paying for it....
it won't make you in ineligible, only shows you don't have a load of money.... good luck dear.... hope it works out!!!
