Well it all depends on what type of girl she is and how long you've known her. This question is quite open and depends on your feelings for her. Whether you like her as a friend or more. Is it too soon to buy her an elaborate gift when you hardly know her? Sometimes the nice guy finishes last, but depending on her personality, I'm sure the gesture of a gift will warm her heart. I personally enjoy gifts just as anybody does and am thankful for every one. Just try to go the extra mile on your gesture and be original in picking out the gift for her. Anybody can give a happy birthday card and flowers.

If you don't know her that well, flowers. Not too cheap (no grocery store) but not overly showy either. A small cluster of roses would be nice. Think about having them delivered with a pleasant card: "Just thinking of you on your special day," etc. Don't gush too much. Sound both a little formal and a little friendly. That's nice and you don't have to look like an awkward twit when you hand them over!!

Ok coming from a girl's point of view is get her something to make her feel loved like flowers and candy or ask her to dinner. Or maybe treat her to the movies you don't have to go over board just because you like her just show her ur interested but play hard to get at all times, girls love the chase!!!!! you can do it

well it depends what your price limit is. you could get her flowers and candy and take her out to a nice resterant, or get her jewelry, you might not know what kind to get her because you are a guy but maybe ask her friends what kind of jewelry, and pick a friend that can keep a secret, you dont want the friend telling her. or you could get tickets to a concert she likes or maybe even the opera.
or both of yall could go on a little weekend vacation. and pay really close attention when she talks she might give you little tiny hints or she might just say something that she likes or wants, and you can also take her window shopping and see what she points out or gasps over.

I'm a girl and I know just what every girl likes . . . personal stuff. Not just costly stuff. Like on all the days leading up to her birthday give her secrereat admirer notes, but sign it not-so-secret admirer. Then get her flowers and a stuffed animal on her birthday.

Make her something. A card or something out of wood if you are good at that. Or find out what she has been wanting really bad and get her that. or jewlery maybe a locket with a necklace. something like that. or go to this website it has all kinds of teddy bears that you can get her very neat teddies on there www.vermontteddybears.com They have the coolest teddy bears on there i been wanting some for a long time this year i am having my hubby get me one.

Depends on your budget. A nice piece of jewelry would be nice (doesn't have to be super expensive). A massage at a spa would be nice. A framed picture of the 2 of you. A nice romantic dinner.
Not perfume. Not personal at all.

Well, I would say since you are probably young get her flowers, candy and a bouquet of balloons also make sure you get her a birthday card to go along with it.
