I would personally try to get a recording or a some other proof that they are blackmailing you.
Even better. "Agree" on the condition that they sign two copies of a letter to be kept by each of you. Once this is secure it is then your turn to blackmail the person. You have the evidence with their signature on it.
Therefore you let the person know that you are ready to face the music and that you're going to make sure that the other person would go down with you in the court of law.
I would recommend making further assurances such as leaving a copy with an atourney you trust (assuming this is all worth such extravagance - if not then just let the person know that you don't care about the blackmail and that they'll regret following through (still ideal if you trap them in their own venom though))
Good luck and act responsibly.

I always think about that whenever I watch a movie where blackmail is involved and the person is threatened with dire consequences if he/she calls the cops, or tells anyone, or refuses to comply. I think the only thing TO do, no matter how painful, and earthshaking that thing is they are blackmailing you about, is to go to the Police, and also be the first to tell anybody THEY have threatened to reveal something to that you didn't want to ever come out. You might have to swallow a bitter pill, and the consequences may somewhat alter the course of your life, but ultimtely I think that people so much despise a blackmailer, that that person will certainly pay a high price for it.

It is illegal, or immoral based on the situation. Either way record everything in a journal; times, dates, conversations,e-mails save them..Record conversations etc. You will have the evidence after a while to give to the police or if is not that serious and you are a teen then you will have evidence enough that the blackmailer is a sicko and you will have leverage'

If the situation is bad enough then go to the cops.
If it is just a personal thing. Tell your blackmailer that you don't care what they say, you will tell it first. Then they will lose their power.

You can't change them, you have to change how you deal with things.
Then, you need to change your life so that no one can ever blackmail you. If you are living a good life then no one can ever do this to you.
It could be that you deserve to be blackmailed.

Call your local Police Department and let them know whats going on...
If a Co-worker is blackmailing you, go to your boss and confess what ever it is you did, then tell them that so and so is blackmailing you and you had to get it off your chest.
They can only black mail you if they have something over on you, nip it in the bud and stop them in thier tracks...
I wish you well..

Fess up to what evey you did to everyone. After that they can go tell who ever they want. They only have power over you as long as you keep it quiet, once you talk they lose all their power.
good luck

head it straight on if it comes out. Act as if you don't care. It looses its momentum that way and makes them look like an @ss.
