can you help me out by telling me which party votes for what. What are the democrat/republic views on things like the war on Iraq, Immigration reform, energy and the enviroment, the economy, jobs (in michigan?), Health care, and education? I get confused when people say things like this and I want to be more politically active, however I can't seem to figure out what the stands are on these issues.

Check the individual you are voting for. Republicans tend to be more for border security but some few are very much for guest workers and amnesty. Iraq had support in both parties. Environment is typically considered more a Democrat concern, but Swarzenegger is hands down more environmentally proactive than Angelides, etc.

Both Democratic and Republicans voted for the Attack on Iraq. The Democratic party pushed for Immigrant rights in the area welfare, Medicare, Exemption from taxation for the Invaders from Mexico. They have denied rights to your older people and have given them to the Invaders. There is no basic difference between The Republican and Democratic Parties. They have only one aim in life. To get reelected. All other considerations are secondary.
They care nothing about the legal citizens of the U.S.A. and you will never see their faces unless they have a fish to fry. or want to cover their butts over some malefaction they they have committed.
Our government has become irrevocably corrupt and there is no cure for it. They have Denied Benefits to older Americans who were too confused by the "D" addition to Social Security to make a decision in time. They gave benefits to 12 million Mexicans, if that isn't Discrimination what is. They have given them all the rights earned by Real Americans.

Your question is too long. Are you talking about each parties platform or each individual person.
If you are confused. just look at the job performance, how divided we are as a country over these issues. And who has been in power the last eight years? The Republicans, let's have some accountability. Let's vote all incumants out of office and start over in Washington. We need some leaders who want of lead because they love this country, not to just get themselves rich and re-elected. VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT. Let's give them a shot at it now. The GOP had their chance and have failed.

There's not really clear party lines on those issues anymore...liberals tend more towards peace/generosity, conservatives are generally more aligned toward defense/frugality etc. No guarantees, your mileage may vary...republicans aren't always conservative, democrats aren't always liberal...

because one is democratic, republican or otherwise does not imply they disagree with the other just because they can.....each individual has his or her own opinion.....the only difference between them is they think alike....in one area....CONFUSE the PEOPLE....and it has appeared to work....right?
you vote them in....you vote them out...if you agree with one then vote for that person...if you disagree then you do not vote for that person....voting does work....problem is they usually lie and do what they want once the are elected into office.......BUSH...prime example.
