Have you tried a check cashing place? There are alot of them around and as long as it is not a 3rd party check it should not be a problem.

There are other places that you can cash a check. Check cashing centers for example, Amsot. go to yp.yahoo.com and look up check cashing centers in your area.

Remember, it's left to the other person/institution to take the risk, so don't be offended if they decline.
