yes it is, you just take the marriage certificate to your local courthouse and they validate the marriage, it takes less than a month.

you'll have to go to your local city hall or whereever you go to get a marriage license and ask them. But don't let it change your mind about where to have your wedding. It's not the end of the world if you have to go to a justice of the peace in Ontario after your European wedding

Come to think of it, my friend's brother just got married in Portugal and I don't think there was any problems. We all live in Ontario.

yes, anywhere you god married the marriage is valid, if you need
proof for imigration purpose you need to have the certificate translated
