its not my fault that yours is the only religion that can only stand on blind faith. For crying out loud Hindus make more sense than you.

This might not make sense, and I'm sure you will disregard it, but this is more for the non-believers that might be reading this post. I have studied various religions and spirituality, and when I read your statement, my mind automatically goes to the bottom of my heart. Now, don't get confused by what I am saying, I don't mean to say in the popular way of saying, that I love Jesus from the bottom of my heart, I mean in actuality my "mind goes to my heart", and I could be wrong on this, but with three years of meditational practice I seem to draw the conclusion that knowledge exists in the heart. So it is not so much Jesus Christ as Lord, but more like the knowledge in your heart is Lord. The heart pumps life into the body. And when it comes "alive," it is you, not Jesus or Buddha or Allah, it is you.

Philosophically I can see the word Christ to mean Divine Wisdom, but if anything, that is our interpretation of the meaning of the word and it's connection to spiritual roots in other people. In my personal experience it is best to trust yourself and be in control of your own actions and thoughts.

However, on a more lighter note, I do take Jesus seriously in a continuation of faith among people. What I mean is, no matter what God is, if I say, "God bless you," I mean, "best of wishes to you," so there is meaning behind the phrase, even if beliefs tell us it is not "real." I see it as proper etiqutte, rather than an absolute truth. So, whether Jesus is Lord or not, I'll concede in saying it if it makes you happy.

God Bless you and may the Lord Jesus Christ grant you eternal peace with God.

Hey, that felt kinda good:)

Where's the harm in waiting?

Depending on who you talk to, the general consensus is that only those who seek salvation through Christ can garner you entry into Heaven. If that is the only stipulation, then does it matter if you do it today, next week, or 500 years from now?

I hear some claims that Hell is eternal punishment. I've not seen any basis for it being eternal. It also violates the tenet that you only need salvation through Christ to enter Heaven. It would seem that if you find yourself in Hell, then you'll be seeking salvation ASAP!

By the tenets of Christianity, there is no real hurry to find Christ. You'll get there when you're good and ready, so all this preaching is mostly a waste of your time that could be better spent helping the homeless.

Besides, if Jesus is half as loving as the Bible portrays him to be, he would not allow you to stay in Hell.

Jesus Christ is merely the PROPHET of GOD NOT i repeat NOT GOD....GOD is 1 therefore he is the ALL mighty...it even says so in the original texts of the Holy Bible read!!! the Priests changed the texts over time...I bow down to our Lord, not to a human.

Oh...sure. Being told that I'm going to be tortured for all eternity (implied, but still there)because I don't believe the way you do is just thrilling. I'll take my chances; I don't like being threatened.

It makes me profoundly depressed that people in this day and age still need to cling to theology to find meaning in life.

For those who are believers, Yes, but those who refused to accept Jesus Christ as God's agent of salvation won't be happy.

No-------it does not make me happy. I do not believe it. And, since the beginning of Christianity, the Christians have made life very hard on my people. Anything at all about Christianity does not make me happy.
