Everybody that says to soak the paper is right!!
If it's a vinyl paper, try peeling off the vinyl first or penetrate it with one of those scoring tools found at any hardware/home store. Then, take a spray bottle and soak it - it comes off way easy!

Hello,
Try using a damp cloth going over the wallpaper. This should help it come off better. Small areas at a time of course. This will loosen the paper from the wall a lot easier. Or you can contact a wallpaper company near you.
Since they do this on a daily basic they should know what to tell you and how do it. Like Sherwin Williams Paint company. Some of them deal with wallpaper. Good luck..

Try soaking it in turpentine first, or at least putting turpentine on the scraper tool that you're using. That will soften up the old wallpaper glue and make the wallpaper separate from the wall a bit easier. You're still looking at a long time getting it off though.

Use a wallpaper removal machine. If you have not got one, soak the wallpaper with hot water. Let it soak in, but do not let it get too cold.
Before you re-paper, "size" the wall. This involves you pasting half-strength paste on the wall and letting it dry. This extra coat of paste makes removal much easier next time.

You should score it first. Get one at Home Depot. While you're there, get a good liquid paper remover. After you score it, soak the wallpaper with the liquid and it "should" come right off.

Use the warmest water you can, and rub down a big spot, and get a scraper of some kind, Like a putty knife, really anything you can scrape with, with a straight edge. It should peel off fairly easy.

You could try using a steam machine. The steam will lift the wallpaper off easily!
