As one said, it's in your owners manual and is a very weird process that takes about 5 minutes consisting of buckling and unbucking the seatbelt at certain times
Or bring it to the dealer for $30 they will do the samething or be lazy and turn it off with the computer (but most spend the 5 minutes doing what the customer didn't do)

Pu t the seatbelt on no matter how far you are going. You never know when something may happen. Remember Safety first!! They put that warning on there for a reason and it was not for someone to disconnect. Something to think about: Why take an unreasonable chance for no reason?

Well you could cut the wire that comes out at the bottom of the latch and connect the 2 wires to complete the connection. Im not responsible if this doesnt work. but we did tis to my moms windstar
and it no longer beeps

usually if you push the button (like where you connect the seat belt) while it's dinging it will go off. that's what i do in mine

You put your seat belt on. If it is the law in your place, the distance you travel doesn't allow you to leave it off.
