Any liquid with an alcohol content will never freeze solid no matter how long you leave it in the freezer.

If you leave wine in the freezer for a few days it will form ice crystals and eventually go to the consistency of sorbet, but wont go brick hard.

It doesn't affect you in no ways to drink frozen (by meaning cold) wine, it can be expensive or cheap wine it won't harm you. The only thing is that, that's not the traditional way to drink wine and that the digestive features that it provides wont work. So don't think it'll give you a health problem but if you buy an expensive wine it don't see the neatness it has on freezing it cause it tastes much better at normal temperatures cold will might just neutralize the flavor.

You can freeze wine, if you ever have any left over put it into a freezer bag and tie it up, then when you need wine to make sauce's just leave the bag out to thaw and you don't have to open a bottle just for wine to make sauce.
Nigella Lawson does it so why should not you.

Red wine is often used in cookery to add flavour to sauces, soups, gravies and casseroles and also as the basis of a marinade to help tenderise and flavour a joint or steak. Keep any wine left in a bottle for 3-4 days and cork it tightly to use in cooking, you can also freeze wine for up to 2 months and then thaw it out to use in cooking, but it will not be suitable for drinking.

you can freeze wine - I have done it unintentionally with white wine many times by putting a bottle in the freezer to chill quickly & then forgetting about it !!!

Generally I have found the cork will pop out as the liquid expands but there are horror stories about bottles exploding so probably best to transfer it to another container.

As for drinking it once it has thawed, I'm sure any wine connoisseur would be horrified at the thought, but personally I didn't notice any difference - I'm pretty unfussy though, for cooking though I'd have thought it would be fine

actually you can freeze it into ice cubes. The alcohol content is small enough to the point that it will indeed freeze somewhat. Wine has water in it so the water freezes into that shape of what you are freezing it into. If it was a higher content of alcohol (say like jagermeister) it won't freeze.

Yes - just pour it into ice cube trays and freeze away!

This is awesome for cooking and for chilling down a wine drink without diluting the drink!

You can put it in the freezer to get cold.. (even though red wine is best a room temperture)... But, it will not freeze. Alcohol doesn't freeze!

You shouldn't. What you can do, if your wine is white or rose, is putting the bottle in a pitcher filled with ice. If its red, just open the bottle 30mn before serving and leave it at room temperature.

I don't think you can, because either way, wine (or any alcohol for that matter) doesn't go bad. It's still good even if you've had it for like 5 years or so. Hope I helped!
