Following your heart is about it feeling right and therefore there is little thought in what you are doing ie not asking questions about why etc. So, don't think just do and see how it feels, at first it's a little scary but this comes with a freebie: brakes. When you feel out of control apply those brakes until you feel ready to move again. Sometimes follwing your heart can be about expectation, but never any1 elses. Follow your heart means whatever makes you happy (keep safe)

I've never followed my heart anymore... I use my brain. When I use my brain, I can see people and things for what they are, without the cloud of emotions, and make smart decisions. Once I've satisfied my brain that something is right for me, I then put my heart into it.
I used to use my heart first, but I found my heart was kind of dumb and didn't think things through. So now I use brain before heart. It's saved me a lot of pain in life.

following your heart is easy, because the brain is controlled by the heart, and the heart tells the brain what to feel. This is basically saying if someone says to follow your heart, then listen to it, and you will get the right decision if you love that person/item that much. Basically the heart has more power than your brain, though it doesn't seem so.

This is a tough one but no i believe that you should always follow your head and not your heart.
The reason that i say this is because i am doing exactly that.
I split with my boyfriend 3 months ago, he dumped me to go back to his ex, Now my heart is saying go on girl you love him, you are in love with him and you miss him like mad. You want him now go and get him,
But my head is saying that is how you feel but at the end of the day he lied to you, he cheated on you, he treated you badly, You can do better and in time you will love again, His ex is the mother of his children so to be fair he has done the right thing to his children.
I choose to listen to what my head is saying
Or am i wrong?

Following your heart means doing what you feel is right. It might not always be the best decision to make up your mind based on your heart . Sometimes your head is telling you what to do and you choose to do something else cause you feel like it in your heart.

What it means is when all of your friends tell you that you are mad to be going out with whoever it is you are following your heart with. But you do it anyway.
Heart over-rules your head. Its a great feeling but you may lose some friends along the way - but if you do then they are not really your friends to start with. OK?

To me following your heart means to do what you think is right. It's all about feeling. Not actually thinking it through in a logical way. Another way of putting it: Going with your gut feeling.

when u r following ur heart.. u r mostly doing what u r not supposed to be doing :cause its not supposed to be good for u or someone else, by society, or even urself..
still u want to do it.. like u get ditched n ppl ask u to move away from that person.. but u want to stay.. that is ur heart talking..
u know its ur heart.. when common sense doesnt agree with that voice.. but there is something tugging at u.. to do what u know u shld not

To follow your heart is to do somthing that excites you, gives u a rush or gives you pleasure. It may not be the best thing to do, but the basic and first desire you feel is your heart, the reasoning voice in you head is you comon sense settign in.
