I asked on politics but they were very sad :( Most of them think that Iraq flew the planes into the WTC. So scary.

So I ask you on here because I know you better. I protested on Sunday with the sign "Torture is un-american" because...the slide into totalitarianism is what bothers me the most. Now I've invested money to make a good sign and wanted to ask if you could come up with something better. Thank you :)

i totally support ur point of view..
killing ppl in Iraq,n then wasting ur lives too is not wisdom...world need peace,n whatever picture one may portray but this is definately not leading towards peace..
for those who say that, they are SAVED against attacks n everything....my view is they are actually INVITING it,,,if you kill someone uselessly, kill the father,or children, rape the wives n daughters,n do as they did with prisoners in jail...then no one will sit quietly..i am saying this, not b\c i am muslim, but this is my general view...if u snatch some one's personal thing without a reason, will he stare at ur face, obviously he will react....(as i don't think, those iraqi ppl did 9\11 or etc etc....are they not innocent???)every one of us need to ask this from ourselves...

to kenny: i am muslim,i know Islam more than you....but what u just told me is amazing i didn't know that

well you're not being truthful. At least I don't believe you, when you say that most responded that Iraq flew the 2 planes into the WTC. I would suggest learning more before protesting anything. If you knew more then you wouldn't have to ask , in the wrong section, I might add.

EDIT* I would suggest an apology from you would be a good start in regaining the trust that you chose to violate. Apologize and I will give you my respect. Honesty first. Answers later.

I agree with Adyghe1985. After serving in the U.S. military for 21 years, we are often sent to places that we dont necessarliy agree with, but we do believe that The United Sates of America is the greatest country in the world; so great in fact, I would give my life for it. Many of my comrades have died in Iraq, and that is a difficult thing, but each one would tell you today, if they could, that they died furthering the cause of America. We knew when we VOLUNTEERED to serve our country that we could end up paying the ultimate price in the defense of freedom for every man, woman, and child who lives in the United States of America. Yes, I said volunteered. We volunteered to step up and defend your freedom, your justice, and your American way of life.

We keep our spirits high and know that we are making a difference when we see the smiling faces of Iraqi children, when men and women come up to us and thank us for standing up and defending them when they cannot defend themselves. The media likes to show you numbers of how many Americans have died and the blood that is shed, but they don't show the positive impact that is made on thousands of families and the freedom that IS growing. If you want to put things in perspective, during the Vietnam conflict, the United States lost 58,226 Americans; in WWII, we lost 418,500, for a total of 476,726 American lives. As of today, America has lost approximately 2300 men and women in the current Iraq war. This number is only 0.4% of the the total losses in Vietnam and WWII. This is in no way meant to trivialize the loss of our country's sons and daughters, because the loss of just one is a terrible thing, but we must remember the cause - freedom.

How about this:

"Thank you for ensuring a weakened Iraq cannot participate in the Ezekiel 38 / 39 invasion of Israel, alongside Russia and Iran."

Oh wait, you meant a sign AGAINST the war .... I can't help you.

Sorry, but I will not help you with this. When something like 9-11 happens again, and someone you know is killed by terrorists, then you'll sing a different song. Methods used by US military and CIA are far more civil than the methods of the terrorists. I become sick when I read your question.

Stop protesting, this will not end the war, but I understand this gives people with nothing in life to but protest. We need to supporet our troops and stop bashing about the stuff that is going on. If you really want to stop this war then everyone will have to wake up and know they alone can not stop it, and they will have to ask thru prayer to the one and mighty for a stop of this war. If one truly believes and ask for God will hear and meet each and everyones prayer.
