There was no pain, no fear, no doubt,
'Til they pulled me out of Heaven.

So that's my refrain.
I live in Hell, 'cause I've been expelled from Heaven.
I think I was in Heaven.

So give me something to sing about!
Please, give me something

This was in no way meant to be blasphemous-it's just furthering a story. The lyrics are from the musical episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and they need to be looked at in context.

Basically the story goes as follows: At the end of the battle in Season 5, Buffy sacrificed her own life to save the world. Her friends mistakenly believed that she had been sent to a hell dimension and sought to bring her back to life. Instead, they pulled her out of heaven. Buffy kept it a secret until the musical episode, when everyone was singing truths they'd rather have kept secret.

Discussions of theology aside, it's really a lovely piece of music, done in a minor key and slightly jarring but etherally beautiful at the same time.

Only the evil and wicked have been, or will be expelled from heaven.

But more fearfully, Isaiah 14 tells us about Lucifer, how he was cast out of heaven.

Be very careful with "Buffy" the vampire slayer.

Buffy the vampire slayer is a thinly veiled premise that promotes satanism and devil worship.
Yes, you will go to hell.

*Edit.....Hehehehe! Oooops, not to point out the obvious, but I am being sarcastic. Way to get the joke, person below me.
