Cats don't get colds like humans do. They do get upper respirator infections which can only be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Then they can dispense the proper antibiotic once they know what the problem is.

Bring him to the veterinarian or at the very least, call your vet and describe the symptoms to him and let him tell you the next course of action.

You can use a humidifier to keep the cat comfortable and make sure the cat stays hydrated by drinking (offer tuna juice if uninterested in water). You should still make an appointment to see the vet asap. Kitty could have an upper respiratory infection that requires medication.
Good luck!

If your kitty is sneezing, it's ok to let it go and see if it stops. However, if your cat has discharge coming from it's nose, and isn't eating, then you need to take her to the vet to get antibiotics. Cats will not eat unless they can smell it first. It's common for cats to get a virus that causes then to have sneezing fits, I took my Gracie in because of it and they sent her home, telling me to bring her back in if her nose starts running, but till then, just let it run it's course. After a week the sneezing stopped and she's fine. Good luck to you, have a great Halloween.

Sometimes cat colds clear up, but you should go to the vet to make sure it's not a more serious upper respitory issues, which could be bad. Also, your vet could prescribe antibiotics either way to help clear things up.

Good luck.

Make sure it's not an infection... Green is bad!

They have either antibiotics or a nose drop you can use. Trust me, go with the antibiotic nose drops... I prefer the aggrevation of actually putting drops up a cats nose to having to clean up the HORRID RANCID poop that the oral antibiotic causes. UGH!

I recently got two stray barn cats who were both sneezing, and the vet diagnosed them both as having an upper respiratory infections. They got antibiotics and they seem to be much better. You have to go to the vet though to get it.
