Well Im sorry but if your 3 year old is hurt the last thing that you need to be doing is asking if he's hurt on the internet. Take him to the ER!

OK this is why some people should not be parents 1 if he is not breathing or is knocked out then yes he is hurt 2 if he is breathing and awake but is telling you he is hurt its best to say he is not OK 3 if he is acting strange and by strange not acting as usually acts then its also safe to say he may have head injury too (head and neck go together ) so take him to the doc if its serious enough for you to wonder than its better safe than sorry

You need to give more information about the injury. Without more info about how his neck feels etc no one can offer much advice. If it is really painful and causing him problems he should probably get checked out at the docs office. If it is just sore but he can move it and isn't having any problems you can try some over the counter pain medicine and some ice or heat which ever feels better. If you post more info more advice can be given.

My husband is a chiropractor. Go see one first before a medical doctor. Medical doctors like to cut and drug. Chiropractors are a safe and natural way to adjust a neck injury. THey can do an x ray there too.

If you aren't talking head trauma then take him to a chiropractor! They will see him faster than if you go to the ER and will be able to determine if he actually needs medical attention by running through simple, non-invasive neurological and orthopedic tests. Most chiropractors now also take x-rays and because they are trained to read spinal films will be the most qualified to diagnose problems in that area (medical doctors have their radiologists read films for them).
Just my opinon... and I'm a chiropractor :)

what do you mean when he hurt his neck? is his neck very painful or does he say the muscles hurt...if it is really painful for him, take him to the doctor ASAP...but for sore necks, you can use heating packs and then alternate to ice packs...
i pull muscles and seem to pop my neck everyday so i know the pain of a sore neck...good luck
