Before the Flood, penguins and kangaroos did not live where they do today. Also, God caused the animals to migrate to the Ark. So Noah didn't have to go on a "world expedition". During the Ice Age that immediately followed the Flood, the sea level dropped dramatically and created land bridges all over the world. You could walk to anyplace in the world. The Ark landed in Asia Minor and all the animals and people radiated out from there. Even secular studies of the origins of languages and animal husbandry show that they originated in Asia Minor. The animals that live in Australia today migrated there while the land bridge was in effect, then, as the Ice Age came to a close, sea levels rose and cut them off. Why so many marsupials and fewer mammals? Probably because an animal with their young in a pouch can travel farther and faster than an animal who has young who are walking with them, need more breaks and have to keep up. The marsupials would have gotten there first.

heres something interesting, if you used the mathematical equations for the ark specified it whould not be enough room for all the animals that were supposedly on the ark, also how did Noah supply food for the animals? How did Noah keep the animals from killing each other? they say God helps those who help themselves.

Maybe they evolved from whatever was on the ark and the species adapted to wherever it ended up.

it is just a story to teach a lesson, not an actual event. all old testament (especially creation etc.) are just stories used to teach lessons. They never actually happened. There may have been a flood, but the people couldn't explain why it happened so they said it was God, the story isn't word for word the truth.
