Often candida is a secondry infection to LYME DISEASE-check out the symptom list of that illness-
Cutting down on sugar will certainly help with candida-but you may have to suffer DIE OFF symptoms.

I used canasten (is Candida the same as thrush?) anyways, it flares up more in winter time - wearing tights and trousers more means things aren't allowed to 'breathe' the same. So (without being cheeky!) try and go 'commando' as much as poss - in bed, at home, etc. Don't do it in public if wearing a skirt, specially at this time of year - the odd gust of wind or falling over is worse than the condition itself!

Stop eating protein. Veganism is healthy because u stop eating meat (protein) Give up the seeds/nuts/tofu Eat more enzymes, they digest protein. Try a raw pineapple/papaya/pear kiwi apple citrus diet. Itll be gone soon. Candida is a cell, cell is protein, no protein no candida, period

It cant be cured, because its just an overgrowth of bacteria, it can get back to normal. Stop eating sugar, yeast, starch...basically anything yummy, white, or yellow. Also there are herbal pills you can take to help reduce your candida overgrowth. A good way to tell if you have it is to spit in a clear glass of water. If the spit strings down then you have an overgrowth.

Keep it under control with Acidophilus tablets from Holland and Barrett, the tablet equivalent to drinking a yakult in the morning (I can't stomach Yakult). Also for flare ups try tea tree oil.Stress can play a big part too.

Candida albicans is treated with an antifungal. The specific antifungal depends on where the yeast infection is. You will have to be more specific in your parameters if you wish to know specific meds.

Clean underwear, shower daily, without using frangrances. Clean with water after sex. Bio-yoghurt on the area to cool and soothe.
The over the counter pessary and cream is good for curing it.
Cut down on hot baths and shower gels.
Look after yourself 'down below'!

There's a good over-the-counter treatment you can buy, which usually has a pessary for insertion and cream for external use. One overnight treatment with the pessary usually clears it. You can also apply natural yoghurt because it's a fungal infection and apparently the natural yoghurt combats the fungus.
