How can I stop obsessing about sex. I think it is because I am a 24 year old virgin, and I want to wait for my soul mate. This is the hardest thing I have ever tried to over come in my life. I think about sex all the time. I think about it so much that I have even started to hate it. I also want to give in on waiting for my soul mate but I really don't want to so please help me with any ideas on stopping obsessing about sex thank you.

You know you are very lucky to be a Virgin at 24. If you realy dont' want to have sex until you meet your soul mate, then you wont.It is natural for you to think about sex, If you think about love then you would see it in a different light, and would see it was something beautiful. Anyone can have sex, but every one can't have love, because all they think about is sex. Making Love, is one of the most beautiful thing in the world. If you are just wanting sex, I would say go for it, but if you want love, I would say wait for it

Have you talked to her about it? You're a 24-year old male virgin and you're at an age where thinking about sex and trying to have sex is normal. You definitely need to tell her how you feel; not necessarily to pressure her into sex, but tell her this is a time when a man's hormones really take control. You may have to play a little "UNO" until that time comes (literally), if you haven't been already.

ok well do you have a hobby? that usually helps people. do you have a g/f? or someone that you think could possibly your "soul mate", if you do then maybe you should talk to them about it. there is a lot of pressure in our society about sex and i think it's rediculous and everyone should wait until THEY want to not just because everyone else is doing it. and i totally respect your decision it's really nice to see someone that didnt give in:]

stay away from images, videos, or music that increases your desire to have sex and that plant's those images into your head, repent and ask God to help you overcome lust and ask Him send you a Godly companion.... And don't give in to this obsession, once you do then that obsession will try to destroy you. Wait, wait, wait.... I'm 25 so I feel where u are coming from

There is nothing wrong being chaste at our age...I am too and proud of it. Obsessing about sex is normal. Don't give in because you might regret it. I have no solution for you. The choice is still yours.

If you think about it that much then just do it! Nuthing will satisfy that craving but sex itself. BUT, if you are really trying to wait on the right one then find something else to do to occupy your time.
