I was on that for maybe three days. I had an adverse reaction because it didn't fit well with my other meds. I had some memory loss and major rage attacks. Before I tried it, I had major migrane headaches from Tegretol. I tried Dilantin and was allergic to it.
Anyway, every medication has side effects. Although, I was warned about the possible ones you have mentioned. My friends wife is on it though and experienced the hair loss, skin lesions, some acne, sensitive to the sun in hot weather and has some problems concentrating at work. If you are having any of those side effects I highly suggest you call your neurologist about switching medications. Tegretol is excellent.

I have the acne.. it's horrible, i went from having none, to having the acne of a horny 16 yr old boy, i'm so upset about it and nothing has help not even one pimple. Also I have tingling in my hands and feet, no big deal i can live with that. And I have noticed that I have no libido and that has been kind of a problem with my boyfriend. Overall I feel just kind of "blah". but I'm not ready to give up on it yet.

My friends on it, has has noticed almost all of thoes things,,,,,but the biggest is her change in personallity....it's really bad, she's not the same person at all.
