It doesn't soften the curl it is just killing your curl but if you don't want curly hair then i would suggest you get a chemical straightner it is like a reverse perm, but if you want you hair to stay curly then i would say either don't highlight it so much or have your stylist recommend you a good deep conditioner your hair will need it!!!!

Curls rock from TGI works alot.yet in case you want something that quite works on maximum sorts of hair I recommend Pureology's ''genuine Curl'' lotion. My god, that product does wonders!!! make certain you make the most of it even as your hair is damp, both scrunch it up for volume or twirl you hair good 2 bottom such as your palms for some effective victorian ragdoll curls!! desire this helped. attempt dodge utilising gel with alcohol.Alcohol is curly hair's worst enemy.

dying my hair once a month for about a year and a half or two years not only thinned it out, but turned my curls to flat-ish waves. i ended up deep conditioning my hair at least twice a week to help my hair gain the curl it once had.
hair dye=serious damage!

The chemicals burn your hair, leaving it dry and in rare occasions yes they can soften your hair making it straight and making it feel like straw.

Nope. They super destroy your super curly hair. Don't overdo the hightlighting too much or you're gonna be left with a super bald head.
