Yes, make sure you get some muscle and not just fat. Eat a well rounded diet so you don't get sick. Too much fast food is very hard on your liver, but if you enjoy that sort of thing eat it no more than a three times per week. Make yourself some milk shakes and add protien powder or drink a few ensure drinks if you can stand the taste. Eat meat and carbs 1/2 & 1/2 at every meal. You want to eat vegetables, drink water, and all the other good stuff too because your hair, skin, nails, and imune system will suffer if you don't.

For 19 year old 40 Kg is too less unless height is < 5 ft and female. After this age there is no increase in muscle number. Adding fat to look filled up and big is futile. It will only add increased workload on your heart and joints. Which will make you prone to many diseases. Better concentrate on good nutritious diet and exercise to keep body healthy.

hi, i can sympathize with you, i have always been thin, people were always saying i was anorexic. i just had a very fast metabolism. i finally went to my dr. to get my thyroid checked, it was ok, he told me to just eat as much fatty foods as possible, he actually suggested i eat at mcdonalds often. also one beer a day, he said would add calories, but only if you can stick to one. i have since put on some weight, also with the help of lifting free weights, since it adds muscle. but please dont become fat. that is also not healthy. take vitamins and eat anything you want. people will tell you fast food isnt good for you, but if you are underweight, it sure helps. even if you are not hungry grab a milkshake. good luck

Eat fast food once or twice a day. Burgers, French fries, a lot of pasta, hot dogs have a lot of fat in them. Remember the weight will go on easier than it will come off, so don't go overboard.
