Your best bet is to buy a spray sealer in the artists isle at JoAnn's.

No way to save it forver. At most you could spray the inside and outside down with arts and crafts clearcoat spray. But you cannot put a candle in it now as it would combust almost instantly.
They dry roses by placing them upside down in a bucket of wax beads to suck the moisture out of them. This makes them shrink to about 2/3rds the regular size, changes the colors, etc.
No matter what you seal it in, air is trapped inside that and it will still rot out.

i am suer you could spray it with a laquer but that will only save it for a little while. any polyurethane or hard coating will make it last a little but as soon as it is picked it will start to decompose so you cant keep it forever but it will definatly last for a little while after halloween
