Priests come in two flavors: parish priests and priests of specific orders (Jesuits, Marians, Dominicans, Franciscans, Benedictines, &c). The different orders require different preparation for their priests, so there's no standard length of time. Similarly, nuns are members of various orders, so there's no standard there either.
Of course, priests from other Catholic Churches (Malabar, Syriac, Chaldean, Melkite, &c) also have their own system of priestly formation.
Parish priests from the Latin Rite (which is the most common one, and probably the one you're thinking of) go through the seminary system, which is standardized. Initially, a seminarian must have a bachelor's in philosophy. If he doesn't have one, he gets it at seminary, which takes two years or so. After that, he has to get what's called a "master's of Divinity," which takes another three years. After that, I'm not sure. Hope this helps, at least a little bit! God bless.

I'm not sure about becoming a priest, but it takes a long time to become a nun. And a lot of requirements.

In order to be a priest AND a nun, you would have to go through the conversion classes if you aren't already a Catholic. Then you would have to undergo an indoctination process into the clergy. My main concern would be that if you wanted to be a priest AND a nun, you would have to undergo a sex-change operation and that could be costly. I doubt the Church would pay for it.

I don't know how long seminary school is, but I think nuns are asked to live three years in the convent of the order they wish to go into to see if it's right for them.
