Once someone stays regularly that is classed as living together. My ex's mother tried to get me in trouble with social because I got an injunction out against her son.I said it was 3 nights but they said no as long as someone stays regularly then you are living together as your partner could work nights and only be there during the day so had to change the law.

i think as long as they have their own permanent address that they pay bills from...ie council tax ect...then there is no amount of nights...i think it used to be 2 maybe 3 but that was a few years ago.....my sister had her brother in law stay with her just at weekends when she was on benefits....he worked london area during the week so only stayed there fri & sat night & he had to pay a share of the rent & council tax as he had no permanent address of his own ( he stayed in b&b's whilst away). i think the general idea is that they arent living 'rent free' at the expense of public money...if that makes sense???

I'm not sure if it effects benefits, but for council tax it's only a 2 days a week I think.
