A week at Coronado Islanda, California. Laying on the beach in the warm sun...listening to the waves on the shore, watching the surfers in the beautiful blue water.....it's so nice there. Military jets fly right over your head (literally) every once in a while and they are awesome!!!! SO relaxing and yet so many things to do IF you want. The kind of place that helps to get "things" in the right perspective.
Good luck.......traveling always makes me feel better!

Exercise and fresh air and sunshine is the best you can get. Doctors are now prescribing more of it as they have found most can get by better than with the drugs and those on the drugs can get off and feel great. the sunshine will give you vitamin D and other nutrients your body needs and the exercise will help distribute and even make some of the endorphines your body needs to be healthy and up. Studies have shown it works better than drugs on most and those that do have the drugs can be taken off or reduced by up to 90%. Shopping will not do it as it does not have the exercise you need or the sunshine so go out and find a good path or way to go that will get your heart pumping and breathing that good fresh air with the sun shining on you and see if that does not do the trick. Sometimes the simplest ways work the best as doctors are finding out more and more.

Depression should not be taken lightly and I really feel for you. I understand the annoyance of someone saying...Just snap out of it. Seriously, you need to see a dr. They will be able to access you and find a medication to help you. I have suffered from depression my entire life and once I found the right fit (of meds) it has opened a whole new world for me. You would be amazed at what it is like to be happy!!! There are numerous meds avail now and its not viewed as being weak. If you have heart prob or diabetes you would take meds..why not for this? If you are against meds, you can try herbal treatments along with vitamins..didn't work for me and please seen a professional for this. Mixing can be hazardous!! Good luck and I hope the sun comes out for you

True depression needs a doctors help.

Depression as in bordom is the sign of a mind that has too much to do and has no clue where to begin or start. Unclutter your life and you won't become depressed or bored as often.

medication can help but you will get addicted to any meds that help depression aneixty and pain. i have PTSD post traumatic stress syndrome and it started in the early 80s.i have taken everything that mds have prescribed but it never did any good. i started praying and talking with JESUS and i have a new lease on life.i still have problems but they arent as bad as they once were. may i suggest going to church and accepting HIM into your life?i know how many react to this but i am a christian and i also know that we are in the last days and i also know i will be persecuted cursed and possibly beaten and killed for my faith but even if this does happen i know where i will be when JESUS returns to earth and fixes this mess man has created.i will be in heaven and where will you be?you can curse me and call me whatever you like and have my answer deleted.i will pray for you and your life. may HE bless you.

Think about all those people who are in a lot worse situation than yourself. For instance: When i'm feeling low about what i look like, i think about those who don't have legs or arms, or who were born deformed. There are alway's someone who is worse off than yourself, so send them some thought's and count your blessings. I count mine every day. ♥

Throw the SO out of the house, make yourself a decent meal, and relax and watch a movie. Best thing I ever did.

I heard St. John's wort helps but if you are on the BC pill be careful because it makes those not work.
Have you tried exercising? Sometimes that will help. It makes you feel good about yourself!
