I just recently had my second child August 5th, and I have been asking myself this same question. So far walking seems like a good choice.
Try borrowing some books from your local library about exercise and see if that helps.

I did a lot of walking. Purposefully, with my head up and at a good pace. My radio walkman made it enjoyable. I also did what I call "counter push-ups". Stand about 3 feet from a kitchen counter and put your hands on the counter. Do about 15 at a time and work up from there.
Walking 2 miles a day and those push-ups helped me lose 60 pounds.

jogging or walking is free, and great exercise! do it for at least 30 min a day for at least 5 days a week for it to have an effect. get some hand weights too to keep your arms in good shape.

Do it the ARMY way, puch ups, situps and running, create your own resistance and weight, you know soup cans make great weights, find anything, even magazines give you makeshift ways to lose weight or gain muscle! Good luck, (don't worry, I'm doing the same thing)

Pilates ball. You can work all of your muscles with one. Plus, they're just fun. You'll need something else besides strength training like walking or running or hiking or cycling. Best to vary whatever you do.

You can simply do push ups, sit ups, or go jogging around your house or at your local park. Eat healthy, avoid being iddle.

Stop exercising your Jaws and start exercising you legs. In other words, Control your food and start walking. That will do it.

eat a healthy diet, get plenty of fresh air and excecise, walking or jogging doesn't cost anything, and you don't have to remember where you parked...
