hand foot and Mouth disease (I think it is the coxsackie virus). It is fairly harmless, hits preschool aged children the most, and is highly contagious. If your child is in preschool, see if it is going around.

Do you mean canker sores? The white painful sores people get usually along their gums? If that's what you mean, I believe I read somewhere those are caused from some kind of vitamin deficiency. There's a toothpaste made by Rembrandt-expensive-but my fiancee swears it works.

kanker soars from bitting on the sides of there mouths while asleep. adults do it too, kids will do ti expecailly when new teeth are coming in
