I truly think they DO work! I was skeptical, but started to use the "Break's Over" collection for my thin, frizzy, broken hair. It smells incredible and I think it is just as good as anything I've used in the past. What also seems to really help me is to use some leave-in conditioner afterward. I towel dry my hair and then use Infusium 23. I spray it on and it works as a detangler as well.
So many people think that salon products are the ONLY that will work. When I was in college, we tested the Ph levels of shampoos and rated effectiveness--some of the most expensive were actually the worst for your hair! I say, give the product a try ( for $3 you really can't go wrong). If it works for you, GREAT! If not, try something else! Good luck!

No. If your hair really needs help, you should definitely use salon professional products. Try Joico K-Pak or All Soft by Redken. Those cheaper ones from the grocery store will usually just make your hair even worse. I think if you have healthy hair, you can use that stuff, but if not....go professional.

You get what you pay for. Professional products really aren't that expensive. Smooth Down by Redken sounds like it would be a great choice for you or maybe Clear Moisture. Redken shampoo and conditioner cost about 8.95 to 10.00. Happy hair days!
