Its pretty offensive! people need to know how christ lived and what he taught and stand for, not so much to focus on the beatings he received for us so called christians, like how mel Gibson did in his movie, that's not how to get christianity across with fear and guilt, but, LOVE!

Yes, it will be offensive to some people. It seems arrogant to me that the others aren't letting you be Jesus, though. If it was me, I'd drop the whole jesus angle and probably go as a demon. That might still fit in with the crucifixion, but I am very, very strange and apologize if THIS idea is offensive to you.

Halloween in general is pointless . . . but if you're gonna be involved, might as well have some fun with it. Sounds like a funny idea. Might as well just reinact Passion of the Christ on your front lawn --- give the trick-or-treaters a real show.

I think that in this day and age, you will probably be stoned by a crowd of maniacal and religiously bent onlookers.
It will make the procession more realistic, but will be pretty painful.

It is offensive, and I can't believe anyone who is agreeing with you! How would they like it if someone showed up at their doorstep, mocking their religion in the most ugly mannor? You are disgusting!

I think nothing of you or this question. You're suppose to be in costume, but in actuality your true identity will be revealed.
