AGAIN, we buy most of our oil from Canada. Less than 3% came from Iraq at anytime. Have we attacked Canada? No, but we could fight by day & come home at night, they are more civilized,
long weekends would be normal, & most important, we would get more oil & we could save billions not having to go overseas.

Give it up, you can not rewrite the facts of where our oil has come from .

Well anyone should know by now it was oil. Then Lucrative contracts for haliburton and the like.
why oil prices are not coming down?? The looting is not for the betterment of the common citizen .
Bush talk about tax cut. Who for ?? the super rich.
Did any one think the soldiers are getting killed to do the common man any good??
I mean , no WMD. Dictator Saddam already removed ( If that was a reason , why other dictators are left untouched?? )
why can't the soldiers be pulled back?? they are their to ensure that certain peoples interests are protected. not to bring down the
oil price for common man. As the terrorist threat increases , there is going to be wire tapping , and the like small inconveniences for the average citizen.
to I vote,do you:
Then why the invasion?? if it was to save iraqis from saddam , do you think , iraqi's life has improved in any way?? if it was better , why are they killing off americans now?? If the job is done why more soldiers are being sacrificed?? there are other dictators in the world. why are they spared?? DPRK acquired nukes and demonstrated that fact to the world. why are the americans not going to save the world by getting the WMDs away from DPRK??
Afterall , there were no WMDs in Iraq.
talk about facts??

In reference to the above question (well it may not be anymore, it's the one about why gas prices are still high), the theory is we were in Iraq so we could free the flow of oil throughout Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Iraq was causing too much trouble in these parts, so if we kept them under bay, then at least we would have some sort of oil supply.
Some may say this was dumb and not a good enough reason to go to war, but if we had no oil and our economy was in a serious depression, what would we say then?

I TOTALLY believe there is so much more involved with the US-Iraq conflict that can even be touched by a single answer. I believe it involves revenge (Little Bush trying to finish what Daddy Bush couldn't) and oil and numerous other things. I feel that the US government tries to police the whole world.

Just a question. If we were in Iraq for oil, why are the gas prices still high?

In the fiction section of the library or bookstore.

Or any loopy lefty journal or blog.

Just remember to not let facts, logic or reason cloud your judgement to believe it was for oil! LOL!

Neither. It's about the fact that Saddam was our enemy so we went and took him out. We could have just bombed the place and left, but Americans are a kind-hearted people. So we stayed to try and help them have a better life.
