Well, they wear more than just the Tyvek suite. Normally you also where grounded gloves that don't build up static. And there are normally ionizers above the area to stop static build up. A shock like about 1/100th or less than the smallest static build up you could possibly feel can wipe out a computer chip.

Having toured some clean room facilities, in my experience, the material almost feels like Tyvek. It is kind of a cross between paper and a fabric, very durable stuff.

Tyvak suits is what they usually use...for clean rooms and contaminated areas...Tyvak has various suits for any type of job

often slang is "clean fits"... yet they're specific fits that are freed from any static electricity, so as that those rooms are quite freed from distant places electric expenses.
