If Christ is not God there is no atonement...there will be no laughter as all will be judged according to the laws they broke.

umm ok...

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.

and as far as the scapegoat... the term originated in the Bible, and Yes, Jesus IS our scapegoat. The death of Christ parellels the ritual of the scapegoat to the letter. Thank you.

Leviticus 16:
7 And he shall take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
8 And Aaron shall cast lots on the two goats; one lot for the LORD and the other lot for the scapegoat.
9 And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the LORD's lot fell, and offer it for a sin offering.
10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

there is lots substance on your proposition and is the psychological reasoning so ordinary right this moment. You needless to say are a deep fact seeker and your diagnosis is conceivable. even nevertheless, literal interpretation of the Scriptures is strictly what's needed for Believers. A literal devil is not any much less real than a literal Jesus and that i individually, have self belief in the two certainly one of them. devil is the antithesis of Jesus and the arch enemy of people who have self belief, actually stated. In my 60 years of existence, I actual have experienced the two and that they certainly are the top opposite. Jesus is absolute Love and lightweight, on the same time as Lucifer is one hundred consistent with cent hate and darkness. it would be welcome to dimish Lucifer to the partitions of the ego and definitely, the rascal does savour being there to domesticate evil. regrettably, we can not %. and choose what we've self belief actually interior the Bible, that's all or no longer something. with any luck, Almighty God will lovingly demonstrate to you Absolute fact.

In the Christian religion we are not supposed to worship Jesus. Jesus is a part of God, but he asked us to worship God only. It is hard to explain. Read the New Testament and I think you will better understand what I mean.

P.S. Don't make ignorant statements like this. It only furthers the problems between cultures.

We do worship God. God the Father. Jesus is the son and Savior who came to earth to point everyone to His Father.

The main reason God had to send Jesus is because man fell away from God when he was disobedient at the time of creation. God had to make a provision by sending His son to earth to live a perfect life and when Jesus blood was shed it made a way for us. Before Jesus the blood of a sheep was used to cover sin.

We lift up Jesus for what he did for us. We lift up Father God for being ruler over that universe and His creative power.

This plan happened from the foundation of the earth.

It's always best to look for truth by studying, questioning, and asking God to reveal Himself. He is faithful

Hebrews 1:1-3 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

John 1:1-2, 14.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Both of these passages mean that Jesus is God.

Rom 5:6
When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9 And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. 10 For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. 11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

Oh God Our Eternal Father! Hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, THY KINGDOM REIGN, On earth as it does in heaven. Forgive us our sins, tresspasses, debts as WE FORGIVE others who do the SAME. LEAD us not into temptation BUT deliver us from EVIL For thine is the kingdom and the glory and the power for EVER.
This might be what the Lords prayer actually says if you combine all the four gospels.
Worshipping the Lord Jesus is acceptable because HE is the LAMB and in the book of revelation it says Worship the LAMB. it also says that JESUS is God. Though he is son of God. This is the godhead.
Now Muslims and other religions might consider worship of God as only acceptible if it is God the Father. But Jesus as the Savior has clearly stated that God the Father is Both OUR GOD and HIS God! OUR FATHER and HIS FATHER. he also taught that ALL of us has the power to become sons of God. But if we do not believe in him we are damned already. There are so many things that TRADITION teaches that are not TRUTHs. therefore you might want to consider your statement about worshipping the Lamb of God. because he is god, as being one of the godhead. It is also written by issaiah that God himself will descend and become flesh and will among his people. and his name shall be called Emmanuel. God with us.
Look up the book of revelation to find where it says worship the lamb.
OK on the subject of scapegoat. truly jesus was the propitiation for our sins, He did not die for our sins but he died because we are sinners and sinners need a scape goat atonement to released from hell where prison doors are open wide and mercy and judgement have their agreements that forgiveness is greater than justice to those that are repentant.
on the subject of idolatry. Well, in the muslim theology it is the greatest sin a person can do!!! in christian theology the greatest sin is Blasphemy of the HOLY GHOST. in fact blaspheming the holy ghost is the only recorded sin that is not forgiven in the "NEXT" world.
In christianity and judaism and islam, there is a great sin of idolatry when it comes to "THEIR OWN SCRIPTURES" many many many people and denominations and sects HOLD up their own scriptures like the catholics kneel before their idols of wood and other artifacts. so when Jesus says YOUR TRADITIONs pervert your truth and the words of God, i think he was also correct when he called the children of abraham sons of devils, after all most of abrahams children conspired to murder one of their own brothers. and then murdered an entire community after they had agreed to a treaty of circumcision in righteousness.

i dont know what faith you are! but i took a shot at all faiths.
NO ONE ! has the truth. If someone has the truth in this generation then that person Must have met GOD face to face and talked for months on every detail of the law and the doctrines and beliefs of this generation to which to defy and the ones in which to uphold. But even if there is a man on the face of the planet Has he come to the end of the knowledge of all Gods judgments and understanding? I dont think so!
I dont think there are a thousand men on this planet that even come close for consideration of such a prize.
