And why?
(I would like it from a Christian perspective too, if you can)

Hi there, good question, firstly God is Creator, we can only pro-create as such.
we believe that at the moment of conception God infuses each of His new creatures with an immortal soul, and this soul is part of God, the real danger of human cloning is this, can we really say the same about a clone, and apart from this, are we too try to ape God as the devil tries to do.

What if in the future you are cloned and the records got mixed up and they take you to use for spare parts instead of your clone? A little science fiction but what use does a clone have that a natural born creature doesn't. What manner would you use a clone? Just the word enslaves the creature cloned as it is lesser in regards to it's value. To copy something living cheapens life. Would a clone used for it's heart to transplant it into your body be a moral choice. A clone for spare parts? Also cloning creates problems we are yet to see and the clones that exist have had something wrong with them. I am sure they can overcome this but then no life is really exactly like another no matter if it is from a cell that is cloned. For the religious folks. Would a clone have it's own soul or the soul of the person it was cloned from?

Because you are playing ALLAH. When your not. Not to mention the "clone" doesn't have any of the same characteristics as the real person. They just look like the other person. Also a clone doesn't live very long and they age faster than noral humans I believe. By the way I'm Muslim.

There are hypothetical spiritual concerns -- e.g. whether the clone might have a soul. More realistically, there are questions as to whether clones have full human rights and must be treated as such, as opposed to being lab rats. I personally don't recognize any government's authority to oversee or restrict science in that regard, but I would likewise object to cloned humans being denied their rights as individuals.

First of all what we are doing is "playing" God. Much like test tube babies and all, we subvert God's will and take matters into our own hands.

The primary issue is that knowing that man is ultimately evil, theses clones will ultimately be just a piece of meat for man to take from. Either this will result in slavery, body parts, etc. Think of the worse and man will do it.

Again, this is man's way of playing God and thus subverting God's will in the lives of man.

Because for most people one is quite enough/ way too much. I mean, imagine if religious people were to clone themselves... 0_0 I wouldn't want to live in a world like that.

One good reason is that it was already experimented with before the flood. The people who were mixed with demons had more technology than this world does today. That is one of the reasons God had to destroy them.

Oooooo --- it's "playing 'God'"... how scary, huh? They've been saying the same thing with every breakthrough since the beginning of medical science. "Let them die of disease as 'God' intended," "Transplanting a heart is Satanic!", that sort of thing.
