This question is more directed at males than females. Males who have had a great love affair with someone special (first time) never do get over that girl. So to answer your question, the answer is YES it is true, your first love is special, pure, uncomplicated, romantic, it's all downhill after that.

You never forget but you definitely can love others as truely. Even moreso. Chances are that you're young with your first love and you don't really understand what love is. It's more of an infatuation. Love gets better as you get older and understand it and understand what it takes to make love work.

I will always remember my first love but I tell you the man I married is someone I love so much more than the first love man and our love becomes deeper every year.
When your young the guy you love seems so perfect but once you find your true love you will know the difference.

Depends. What, people think this is written in stone? You might have an amazing experience the first time or you might not. You might be in love with your first or you might not. I suppose the first time is always memorable as the first, but that's really all there is to it. The rest all depends.

Yes my friend. First love is very intense. Because your heart is soft and tender when you first start thinking for someone else. AND most important if you have sex it becomes more intense. Beieve me i have not been able to forget my first love. Still miss her.

I don't' believe that it's true. The first "love" usually happens when you are young. As you mature, your definition of love changes. You will always remember your first, but it won't haunt you forever.
