I saw an old flame down the pub last week and we had a little chat she ended the conversation telling me she is always at the pub on a tuesday night. I'm planning to go tomorrow to see if she is there and to ask her on a date but i am i shy person and know that she will be with her friends how do i approach her and ask. I really don't want to infront of her friends. Any advice greatly appreciated

I wouldnt make it sound like asking for a date, I would be more free about it, and just say "maybe we should meet up for a drink or something to eat" one night after work, nothing special.
Then once you get to know each other again, you can make your feelings clear to her, if she hasnt already guessed that is.
Dont let women pretend that they dont know whats happening well before you, most of the time. We know, we feel it.
Try not to be too nervous, I mean all she can say is no, and if you have history its best to make it nice and calm and not to rigid.

Best way to start is a classic, offer to buy her a drink, this way you can find out if she's interested. being a women myself, I only accept drinks from blokes I like so thats a start. When and if she accepts make light conversation, perhaps mention somewhere else thats good on a tuesday night then ask her if she would like to go next week, on you. Dont forget to compliment her on how she looks! thats always a winner!

Why don't you go down the pub and say hello and ask if you can sit with her and her friends.Before you leave, get her number and that way you can give her a call and ask her out this way. Once you have her number, you have more opportunity to ask her out in private.

You need to grab her on the way to the loo then! Just say do you fancy coming out for a bite to eat at the w/e or something, make it sound casual and dont act like you are desperate. That should work fine. Good luck.

Alright, at the pub, get a napkin and write a place and a time on it and right before you leave say " You got something on your face" and give her the napkin with the info face up.

just go over and tell her ur buying her a shot then take her up to the bar and get her one and then ask her out,but like anne said dont sound desperate.if shes ur ex then she wouldnt mind if you bought her a drink and briefly spoke with her.after all what chicken head wouldnt go out with a guy if they were gonna pay.dont get anything to make her to full if yah know

I would just have a couple pints.. which natually will lead to a couple laughs and when you have her off to the side, ask her if she would like to grab dinner sometime. I think it is best to be very causal about it.

okay what you do is first ask her if she wants a drink girls like that then you ask her in a nice way (not in the way like you want to get in her pants) to go out with you one night or for lunch!
