BAR CODES - can anyone tell me how I can get one?

I live in the UK and I need about a dozen or sobarcodes to put on various products - I dont even know where to begin. Does it cost money?

You don't mean bar code, you mean UPC, right?n The UPC code which is next to a bar code stands for Uniform Pricing Code. (A bar code is merely a way for a machine to read this UPC number electronically).

You mean specific bar codes for your item? If not just cut some off of boxes and labels and stuff.
