I dated this girl for two years and had the greatest time of my life. We both had to go to different colleges, and it was one of the main reasons for a breakup, all her. That was a little less than a half a year ago. Trouble is, I still can't get over her. I can't stop thinking about her, and I feel awful everytime I picture her in my mind. There can never be another chance with us because she feels that I'm not religious enough for her, so I'd like to know just what could I do to ease the pain of the crazy loss. Thanks.

The last thing u need is a re-bound girl...all u do then is make someone else hurt for your loss. It takes a lot of time to let someone go but that's a choice only u can make whether u do it in weeks months or even years. No one wants to be in a relationship with someone with all that emotional baggage because it hinders any chance of u ever really gettin to know them because u are too busy comparing them to the one who hurt u the most. My advice is to let her go. And until u make that choice all u are gonna do is wallow is ur own self pity. People grow apart , people change take what u believe u have learned from it and move on. Have no regrets because remeber we learned somethin' from everyone one we meet. Good luck

I've been through similar circumstances. The only way to get the monkey off your back is to have fun with sports or any activity you like and above all date, date, date! I still have latent feelings for every girl I ever loved but it quit hurting long ago. It takes time.

You just have to let go and accept the truth that the two of you can never be together again. Just divert your attention to other things or another girl. It's the 1st step of moving on. but "what if" that she just said that because she wants you to prove something to her. Think about it. Sorry if it's confusing but that's what loves is.
