If they are not legally bound to live there (not on the lease agreement) tell them they have two weeks to come up with the past due amount or move out. In the mean time, I would be looking for a new roommate. Check references and make them sign some sort of an agreement so this type of thing does not happen in the future.

The only type of "revenge" that I think you are going to (ethically) do is to state the truth in any future references she made need from you.

I would buy the roomate a newspaper and when they ask what it is for you should tell them it is so that they can find a new place to live. that your sick picking up after them and having to pay there part of the bills.

If they arent on the lease ask them to move out. And advertise for someone else more responsible. If they are on the lease really nothing you can do but suck it up. Perhaps put a lock on the cabinet where the food you purchased is located therefore forcing them to purchase their own.

Ultimate revenge is to tell them to move out and find a new room mate who will carry their end of the load.

If yall are both on the lease, there isn't a lot you can do about kicking anyone out.

If you want to feel better about putting up with their crap, you have several options:

- Clean toilet bowl with their toothbrush

- put their dirty dishes and crap on their bed

- deal with it till the lease is up, and then leave them with as little warning as you can possibly get away with when you move out.
