My boyfriend and I are suppose to be over, but if we are WHY DID HE ASK ME TO COME TO HIS JOB TODAY when I said I was going to go to Cingular to get my job changed. Why did we stay on the phone for three hours last night talking about everything that we wish we had done in the relationship? Why did he agree to come over to my apartment tonight?
I'm just getting mixed signals and if I still have a chance...tonight will be the night to prove myself. What do I do to show him why he should be with me?

You need to figure out if you want to be with him anymore. Maybe it was supposed to be over for a reason and trying to hang on is only going to make it worse in the long run. Maybe tonight you and your "ex" should talk things through and figure out if your worth saving. If you both decide it's not move on without each other.

I hate to say this, but if it just happened, and you two have gone a few days with out sex then that is all this is going to be. He wants sex and you are what he is use to and he might be waiting a to line someone else up for that. I was once told if a person wants to walk out of your life then let them walk. I don't mean to come off as a hater so who knows he may really want to work things out. He may realize that you two being apart is driving him crazy.
Another thing I once heard the man who wrote the book "He's just not that into you" say on Oprah was WOMEN IF A MAN WALKS OUT OF YOUR LIFE, AND HURTS YOU REALLY BAD EITHER BY HIS ACTIONS THAT CAUSED THE BREAK UP OR THE PAIN AFTER THE BREAK UP HOW COME YOU LET HIM BACK IN SO EASY WITH OUT HAVING TO DO ANY WORK TO GET BACK IN OR PROVE TO YOU HE REALLY WANTS YOU BACK. HE SAID SEX AFTER A BREAK UP IS PROBABLY SOME OF THE BEST SEX YOU WILL EVER HAVE, BUT WHERE WOMEN GO WRONG IS THEY CONFUSED BREAK UP SEX WITH WE ARE GETTING BACK TOGETHER, AND YES HE WILL SAY THAT TO YOU IF THAT'S WHAT HE HAS TO DO IN ORDER TO GET THE SEX BECAUSE HE KNOW THAT'S ALL HE HAS TO DO.
So I am going to say to you if he did the walking will you be ok if all this turns out to be is just sex. He is giving you those mixed signals because he can and he knows you still love him. Men know what to do to get what they want from someone who is connected to them in a emotional way. If you go through with this and it works in your favor I will say "you go girl", but if it only turns out to be sex it's safe to say you have been fulled warned, and therefore will have to deal with what ever the consequences will be (meaning emotional consequesnes) because you have to ask yourself what could have really changed in such a short time frame where he has just completely changed his mind. I am in a situation similar to yours myself. The best thing to do is evaluate the situation and see if it is worth going back into and what made you all separate in the beginning. I know that the mixed signal thing is puzzling, but you have to realize that he his use to hearing your voice and seeing you. But before you make any drastic moves, think about the consequences first.

Maybe he's not rady to let go yet...if that's what he really wants to come over to discuss. Wait and see what he says...respond as honestly as you feel. You don't have to prove anything to HIM, just yourself...good luck.

i think he is playing games. he might not realize it, but he is. and you should tell him that this is how you are percieving his actions.
