I am planning to get engaged soon but I do not want the typical diamond ring. I would like to have an engagement band. When I get married I want a wedding bad also. Are there any sites that have wedding band sets? I keep coming across sites that have sets with a band and a ring.

Hope I haven't confused anyone.

Thanks.

You'll find that in most cases, and esspecially at places you have lots of choices, you'll have to buy your "setting" (the band) and your main stones seperately. They do this so that they don't have to carry every possible combination in every possible price range. For example, when I picked out my set (my fiance took me to look at rings after he proposed) we looked at either putting a round or a marquis in it.

But for wedding band sets, where the engagement ring and wedding band go together, I'd go to the Robins Brothers. Here are a few examples:

The "ring guard" style is for a plain band with a solitaire diamond. The wedding band is two pieces that go around the solitaire.

Any jewelry store can help you find a band that you'd like in lieu of the usual engagement ring. If you can't find anything in a store, there are some jewelers who will make whatever you design.

My fiance proposed with a band from the local jeweler and then once I said yes, we went together to Tiffany's for the shiny engagement ring, since he was spending a good chunk of change, he wanted us both to experience Tiffany's together.

I don't understand why you don't want a diamond. It is the only time in you life you can get one with out feeling guilty.
